EATING GREENS COOKBOOK
150+ PAGES DESIGNED FOR CONSCIOUS CHANGE
The quest
We can’t save the planet on an empty stomach, can we? So once again we partner up with the Greens/EFA in the European Parliament to create an impressive Cookbook with easy, creative, sustainable and healthy recipes for conscious home chefs like us.
50 MEPs themselves, generously shared recipes close to their hearts, originating from all over the world and accommodating every type of diet. What a fun and impactful way to celebrate a huge legacy of political achievements in food safety, nature restoration, biodiversity, agriculture and more!
The magic formula
We created a comprehensive order for all the recipes, allocating them into main categories and subcategories and then created a series of icons to distinguish between diet types and cooking procedures. We also sneaked in some “Cooking breaks” for readers interested in political topics and tips on how to help in building a more green future.
A photoshoot of chef Claude Proligh bringing the recipes into life by Lili of the well-known Le Green Studio captured the elegant comfort of these one-of-a-kind dishes. Physical and digital supporting content was created, to form a wholistic campaign, like a seasonal calendar of fruits and vegetables as well as recipe videos.
Print & Web books
We strategically designed a stylish and structured a layout that scaled up to almost 200 pages of rich content in three different languages that could easily be adapted for print and the web.

Calendar with seasonal fruits & vegetables
To accompany this epic book, we also wanted to create something that our audience could refer to on a daily basis. So we designed a poster with around 100 hand drawn illustrations of fruits and vegetables divided into seasons that applies to the whole of the EU – the ultimate decoration for every European kitchen that respects itself and the gifts of nature.
Recipe videos
In order to promote the Eating Greens Cookbook and to demonstrate a few of the recipes, some preparations were recorder and edited to create fun YouTube Shorts. These were linked to the recipes in the form of QR codes for the print book and hyperlinked into the web book. Also here for you to get a taste of what to expect.
The happy ending
The Cookbook was launched during an engaging event at the European Parliament in Strasbourg where food influencers from all over the EU got to attend. Hundreds of books were sent around Europe and even more were downloaded through the influencers’ promotion. The web book became a flipping sensation and they all lived happily ever after.
